Default Louisville

I thought that anything down by the Riverfront would be cool. As long as the debris and stuff from the river doesn't get in the pictures.

I was wondering if something out the east end would work out.
easier for us Lexington and cincinnati folks to get to.
There's a good Italian restaurant, in a shopping center (outlet mall?) with a big parking lot that I remember.

Downtown is harder to get to (but with directions we could manage). And it might be more scenic. Too bad Churchill Downs still has scaffolding around it -- I heard --- is that still true?

Aha. NOW I see post from Older than Dirt.
Sounds like good suggestions. What do you think,
OTD?

Default Outing plans

Alas, Churchill Downs is still under construction; however, the Derby Museum which is attached is still open and quite fun. There are lots of eating establishments - check out this link...

Louisville Restaurants

Tom Sawyer Park is on the east side of town right off the Gene Snyder Expressway - I think most of those links I sent earlier also have maps as part of the sites...

Default Two Threads, Same Subject

I hope this takes this time. Let's get on the same page. We have another thread, Kentucky/Indiana Pilot Meet.

I like the idea of the BlueGrass Bison Ranch. Just because we haven't been out there yet. Is it senic?

Otherwise, I'm OK with any place.

GARY
