My 2009 Honda Pilot only blows cold air when the heat is on. I'm hoping to find something I can fix myself other than a bad heater core, which would be a costly replacement. Can anyone tell me where these parts are located?

If that's all it is, at least it's an inexpensive and easy fix: http://www.piloteers.org/forums/14-problems/22415-no-heat-front-console-5.html#post967754

Either way I would look into testing the "mix motor" for the HVAC. There should be a "self diagnostic" function on the HVAC unit - sorry I don't have the service manual for the '09, just the one for the 06-08.
