I am very impressed with the onki boards. Here's my take on it.

While not exactly apples to apples, I had a 04 pilot with OEM boards. They were very nice but in 04 did not have lights. I am a big guy.... 240. The only time I really ever used the boards were to aide in putting our luggage carrier on. I felt ok on them but was always cautious. They would slightly flex with me on them. To me, the new lighted OEM boards look just like the ones I had... Just with lights.

With the onki's... They do not flex at all. They are very sturdy.... More so than the OEM''s in my opinion. They don't flex with me on them at all. I was on both sides quite a bit last week installing my sunroof deflector.

The guy who installed them says they are very well supported and he said they were the most solid boards he had seen. There again, that is his opinion. I got them primarily for my 6 and 8 year old who were having a little trouble getting in the new pilot.

The Onki boards are more slip resistant.... They grip wet feet very well.

I recently replaced my interior lights with LED's and I did the boards as well. I plan on posting some pics as soon as our nasty weather clears up a bit and I can clean up my pilot.

I like mine... But I'd be happy with the OEM's too. I think either would be a good choice. The onki's were probably a little more difficult to install, just simply because the OEM's are made to fit and have their own brackets. As I mentioned, wiring was easy too... My installer tapped into the factory connectors. Mine light up with the key fob and dim just like the stock boards. They also have a nice rubber edge that sits flush along the black moulding/trim of the vehicle so you can't see thru them and under the vehicle.

They were to close to body of the Pilot to use them. So I am wondering about these and if anyone has comments on others please let me know. Still debating whether I want to OEM or the Onki running boards. Cheapest I could find was 399 Shipped to Colorado Springs.
OEM premium running boards are very useful; us, kids, grand kids even 90 y/o G-ma find them helpful to enter or exit. Good footing platform as opposed to nerf style bars (I've had both). Downside ...back of ankle and calf area can get dirty if you don't use the step and just slide out brushing against the board. Boards also help protect some of the wheel and side spray from hitting the body.

OEMs can be found for about $400 also.
