You just pop out the lenses. I used a thin flat-blade screwdriver with a piece of electrical tape on it.

It's a 12V 8W capsule-type bulb. I would recommend checking all your other map and cargo lights before making a trip to the store, and it's always good to have a couple extra on hand.

The College Hills Honda site has a good video about replacing the bulbs with LED's, it's in the Oddy accessories where they sell a kit with all the LED replacement bulbs needed. Too pricey (got mine from Amazon) but the video does show how many of the lenses come off and mentions that some of the the festoon LED bulbs may need electrical tape or other insulation to prevent problems.

Here's a link to the video (or can be accessed thru the College Hills Honda site) - Episode #211 - Honda LED Lighting Installation - YouTube

Just did mine today, had tried a few of these bulbs from Amazon and they worked fairly good so I got more
194 168 T10 Wedege SMD High Power LED HYPER WHITE BULBS Dome Lights 12V (1 pair) : Amazon.com : Automotive 194 168 T10 Wedege SMD High Power LED HYPER WHITE BULBS Dome Lights 12V (1 pair) : Amazon.com : Automotive
(had previously ordered another type of bulb and they were garbage)

The clear part just slides down, they have about 3/4 inch sides that extend straight up into the tailgate housing and it seems to be just a friction fit because they didn't seem to snap in or anything. I just used a dental probe type thing, a little on each side slide it down. You'll end up with a clear rectangular little cup. The bulb then just pulls out like the others. Replace bulbs and slide the clear "cup" back up into the housing.

No screws. Just pry the lens out using a small/thin screwdriver. I put LEDs but they didn't last long (less than 8months). It gets wet in the license plate housing.
