I left my car switched to the key position where the dash lights stay on because I had to have work done on my driver door while my son was watching a DVD for about 10 min. After that my car wouldn't start , did my battery lose that much juice during that short period of time?

I had this same issue with my pilot. My battery was dying just from having the door open while vacuuming. There is a TSB out there about the sunroof somehow draining the battery. It actually ruined my battery over time. A couple trips to the dealership and they reprogrammed the sunroof and replaced my battery. Hasn't happened since. Describe the issue to your service tech and ask them to check on the TSB.
