Help on Home Link and Rear View Mirror

Beginning on p. 357 in the owner's manual is a discussion and directions for programming the homelink (garage door in my case). The description doesn't seem to match the look of my mirror when it talks about outside buttons, etc. Photo of my rearview mirror is here. There is a reflection of the inside roof of car in the mirror photo. The book indicates all EX-Ls have HomeLink. The space to the left of the middle button (looks like off/on button on TV remote) is a hole which looks like a light in the bottom, but nothing I have done makes it blink. Any ideas about what I working with here. Thanks.

My guess is the little hole might be the camera, but if so is the center button the home link button? Thanks.

On the overhead console you should be using the buttons on the console marked I II III, not the mirror. And the red indicator light is to the left of the "I" button.
Check the image on page 356 OM.

Thanks so much. I found the buttons I, II, III on the overhead console. In my manaul on page 356 is a picture of the USA with compass zones and it's the last page in the compass section. I'll try the programming again tomorrow with the correct buttons. Can't help but wonder if there's a page or photo missing from 2011 OM. Appreciate your help.
