Hi guys,
I'm trying to figure out which backup camera/rearview camera would work best on an 2011 honda pilot lx. So far I search on the forum and dont see may people have done this upgrade. So far I have and pioneer xt910 double din radio installed in my suv and this system is GREAT!!. I love it, but I neglected to complete the system with the back up camera. My question is 1. Which backup camera is good in terms of night vision, weatherproof, and no cloudy on the screen? I heard that china products are a hit and miss. So please enlighten me. 2. Where is a good location to place the camera? a. on the license plate area? b. near the hitch area? c. any suggestions? 3. In terms of running the wires, it looks like alot of work taking off the panels on the lifegate and snaking the wire thru the small hole if I place the camera near the license plate are. Please. I know someone must have done this upgrade, in any way can the almightly pilot gurus show me the right path. Thanks |

I just ordered one of these for my Accord: Pioneer ND-BC4 Universal Rear View Camera. There's a write up on how it's basically plug and play, but from the pictures I've found online it's well lit even at night.
