... so I have a 3 year old who loves mommy's new 09' Pilot Touring Nimbus Grey with tan leather... we got the running boards so he can get in and out on his own. Problem is he is now climbing all over the rear seats to get into his car seat, and putting his feet up on the back of the drivers side seat... I imagine after a few years of this the seats will start to show some serious wear.
Looking for a seat cover for the 2nd row that only covers the bottom.. no need to cover the seatbacks... and it doesn't need to be fancy... am even thinking a pet cover or something. Also looking for something to cover the back of the drivers side seat so we don't have to take his shoes off every time he gets in the car. Help! |

You can try placing a towel under his car seat and running it across the second row. I've done this in the past, but with two car seats holding it down. Once the car seats were installed using the latch system, the towel stayed put. If you only have one car seat though, and I don't know if you are using latch or not, you may have to come up with a clever way of keeping the towel, or whatever material you decide to use, from sliding around. Sounds ghetto, but you can punch a hole into the towel, and use a zip tie to anchor it using the lower latch in the seat cushion.
For the back of the driver's seat, same concept: Grab a towel, punch two holes in it and use the headrest posts to keep it from falling off. Does it look good? Not really. Will it keep dirt and who-knows-what-else from the back of the seat? You bet.
