I just had my 30k service done on my 09 Pilot. Part of that service included the tires getting rotated and rebalanced. One of the tires that they balanced had the weight on the OUTSIDE of the rim. I usually have the sticky weights on the inside of the rim. It's a personal preference. Now, can I re balance the one tire and have the weight put on the inside? Or do I have to re balance all of them? The 4 were done at Honda, but I'll prob go get the one done at another place. Do you think it will mess anything up since they were all balanced at the same time on the same machine?

It's the technician who is doing it. He wasn't paying attention probably. I used to be a tire installer way back when and it really doesn't matter what side of the wheel they go on. More and more people are requesting them to be put on the inside of the wheel for visual purposes. They are also hard to clean around so if you keep them on the inside you don;t have to worry about it.
