Default Creeeeeeak! A-pillar noise back again

Anyone else had this issue? Our 2011 had a passenger side A-Pillar creak since day one. My local dealer "contacted California" for a fix that involved separating door jam seams. This fixed it for about 4 months...now it's back with a vengence.

It's going back to the dealer sometime this week.

Anyone have a permanent fix? This vehicle sure seems to have a ton of flex. You can even hear the drivers side door window seal become slightly "unsealed" when hitting bumps and especially when towing my boat.

At my initial visit to the dealer 4 months ago, the tech thought I was "missing some spot welds". Starting to sound like he was right.

Noise is coming from passenger side a-pillar where an air bag resides. If it wasn't for the airbag, I'd start nosing around the a-pillar myself.

Have you tried having someone place their hand on the window, and gently putting force on it(around the mirror/A-pillar area)? My window was creaking around the A-pillar, and putting a wedge in between the window and window jam(interior passenger side, inside of the A-pillar mirror cover).

You could be on to something, but I'd rather have the dealer deal with this at this point. I think it all relates to the pilot having a wet noodle for a platform - the root cause of all the noises. However, I'll keep your idea in mind if the dealer can't resolve to my satisfaction.

Thanks for the idea.
