Hi Everyone,
I'm in the process of purchasing a Pilot and was debating if I should have the dealer throw in the accessory grille as part of the deal. I was reading the installation instructions and it says the bumper needs to be removed and for some reason something has to be shaved. My concern is obviously removing and reinstalling the bumper and achieving that clean, factory look. Has anyone here had the accessory grille installed and any concerns with gaps or finish after the dealer reinstalled everything? |

Old post above, but I put the grill on myself and the bumper snapped right back into place can't even tell it was ever removed.

See above link from Handa website. I skipped steps #2 and #12. You can reach the 5 retaining clips that hold the center grill without removing the bumper. Note that the clips are inverted, so be careful not to drop them inside the bumper, just take your sweet time. It's a doable job

I'd say it looks sweet
, great job!!! It was easier for me not to remove the bumper. After owning two Odysseys and removing the front bumpers on each of them because I had to install a gutter guard (to protect the A/C condenser from rock chips), I knew what I was going to do on my Pilot. Although the clips holding the grill was inverted, I was able to catch them one by one. But your pain is well worth it...big difference on your Pilot!

Looks sweet! :-)
Since you are right around the corner, an expert installer now and you just happen to have all those extra clips lying around, jeproks, I'll give you a call if and when I order my grill so you can help me install mine. ;-)
