Default Any underbody pictures?

I have been searching for ...anybodies images of the underbody of the Pilot.
In my case a 2011 ExL
My dealership invited me in to see the underside during the first oil change, but
it was only lifted high enough for the oil can to take the oil.
So, although I got a good view...what I really needed was either a lawn chair
to lay flat on so I could actually take in the details of the underbody....or
I should have asked for another 3 feet up.
Stooping over and trying to look up really didn't cut it for me. IN hinesite, I should have had my camera.

I have tried to use my garage creeper to check things out, but steep angle towards the rear ...squashed my view. Glasses with bi focals don't help much either.
I searched the web, and all I could find were specific areas that have been photographed. (problem shots) Other car brands sometimes use the whole underside in brochures, as selling points, but haven't seen any by Honda...yet.
An ideal shot would be from bumper to bumper with everything in between showing up.
Hope someone has some images.
thanks!!!

Buy a floor jack, a couple sets of sturdy jack stands and a reclinable lawn chair. Then you can stare at the underside of your Pilot for as long as you want.

Your specific request for a bumper to bumper shot is a tall order. Is there something specific you're interested in? Have you considered parts diagrams? They contain a lot of detail. But the best option is to get it back on a lift. Good luck. If you ditch the creeper you'll have a few more inches to help you focus.

Yeah, I guess my request asked for some trite comments and ???
I mainly would like what I have seen in past vehicles I have owned. And that was
not just the inside videos and 360 exterior shots, but also of the underbelly.

No major pressing need. Toyota and Chevy have had them in their brochures in the past
and I enjoyed seeing the engine/drivetrain/axel connections as a clean crisp photo.
Obviously I seem to be the only one on this subject and surprisingly such a fine constructed truck does not include this in their visual selling point.
I am as intrigued with the working engineering (unseen) as I am the delightful exterior and living space inside.
A parts diagram is a good start, but B&W is rather ....simple.
Thanks for your feedback though.
The hoist again...and a wide angle lens might be my only answer so far. Lawn chair
while using jack stands.......good one!
Just thought i would ask it to the crowd out there. We are diverse.
No biggy.

Took alook around the forum to see if I could spot any pictures of Pilots rolled on to their side. But nothing.

I do recall Honda used to do a 3d rotating view of their cars on the website but that idea long since died.

So what are you going to do with this piece of information?

Again, I seem to be making others wonder about my needs to see the bottom of the Pilot.
But as Rocky said, some previous brands did allow for an underbody view on the site
to sell you the car.
I like to think that I am part of this magnificent auto...in that I know and feel changes as they occur. So when I am driving in winter and hear a difference in the sound as I have picked up a hundred pounds of underbody slush.....I may actually have a memory of
the structure below and know what might be going on.
Just an example.
I was behind a Ford small SUV yesterday and saw the rear axel had some sort of support structure that reduced it's clearance space on both sides to the wheel structures.
So, knowing what is where and when off roading on un even land...I know my understructure more.
I guess I am just a visual kinda driver. Into the Zen moments with my Pilot.
And I would rather fix....or know my limits on what needs fixing. If my dealer says my
CV joint boots are ripped, I know where they are and have actually seen them or can
refer to a photo where to look.
I knew my Blazer underbody by heart...and want to compare to the Pilot too. Lots of
great design here...
That's all......but I was surprised there isn't anything on this site to solve this.
Perhaps this will change with time....

I'm weird like you, I look for under-body shot and pics with bumpers off etc. I have them for my MDX but not the newer pilot. Here is a cool frame pic of an older pilot. Well, cool if you're into that sort of thing. I like to get better acquainted with my cars to make it easier to work on them. Yes, I know it's weird.

This is how I like to support it for photo shoots.

So, that was an MDX body? Very interesting.

Funny that we are "wierd" for wanting to see the underbelly.

And funny that the Honda site shows you 5 outside shots and interrior
shots till you can practically smell the new plastic...but no underside.

I won't kick this topic to death but still will be looking about....
