Default Help: Cargo Dimensions..

I found a great deal on a new TV. To save money, i'm using "Ship to Store" and it should be available later today.

The box Dimensions are : 59 x 17 x 38. And it's a plasma TV so it has to sit Straight up. So if I put the seats down, will it fit? I'll need at least 38 Inches from the floor to the ceiling, and 59 inches from the front seats to the tailgate. Everything I'm reading is showing me the total Cubic feet, but i just need to fit this sucker in.

EDIT: 2012 Honda Pilot Touring.

So, I measured my 2012 EX-L Nav. The good news is that with the 2nd and 3rd row seats down, there is easily 6 feet of depth from the hatch to the front seats. The bad news is that there is barely 3 feet of height in the cargo area near the rear hatch and with the height becoming progressively less as you move towards the front seats (maybe 28 inches from the top of the folded down 2nd row near the driver's seat to the ceiling.) The folded seats form basically an inclined floor towards the rear hatch, so you lose clearance near the front of the cargo area. You may want to consider taking the TV out of the box and either propping it securely in the cargo space or see if it might fit upright on the floor between the front and 2nd row seats. You certainly would not have a height issue (but 17 inches wide in with/box may mean it still won't fit unless you take it out.)

What about leaving the seats up and sliding in the second row? You could tilt it to get it in. From what I've read, you don't want plasmas to be transported on their back to reduce the likelihood of the glass breaking.

What about taking the TV out of the box?
