2012 Pilot passenger doors lines

After having my new pilot for a couple of weeks, my wife told me she saw a scratch on the passenger door. I looked and at the bottom back side, there is a line that looks like a scratch but very uniform. When I checked, there is one on the other door exactly the same. I tried to look at pics online and I didn't see them on 2012 pics. Anybody else see these lines on the passenger doors at the bottom back? They look like stress or metal fatigue cracks or something.

They are clear plastic protectors. To protect the affected areas from stones, sand, etc. I am glad Honda had the foresight to make them standard equipment

X2. Even the first gen had them.

So that would explain why I didn't see them in the hi-res photos online for 2012 models. Thanks for the answer
