Default Best way to cover seat backs and cargo area?

So I have a wife, a kid on the way, a golden retriever that explodes fur on command and BLACK CARPETS in my 2012 Pilot. Why are there black carpets in a beige interior? Who knows, but here's my question:

What is the best way to protect the 2nd and 3rd row seat backs as well as the cargo area? It seems that the cargo tray is a dumb idea (you can't raise the 3rd row with it in the car) and the cargo liner has the same problem.

I ended up using dog crates, it's especially good at containing the fur explosions . Prior I tried a bench seat cover, cargo tray, and pet barrier combination. However, I added a second dog and (apparently) they needed to be seperated for now, at least while I drive.

My husband and I have a baby on the way also and we have 3 dogs, one of which is a Siberian Husky (need I say more when it comes to fur?).

We bought the cargo liner to protect the 2nd row seat backs and cargo area from dog fur for our 2012 Pilot. IF we ever do decide to use the third row, which would be rare, then most likely we won't have the dog in the car at that time or I'll just use the non-Honda cargo liner that's in my CR-V to protect whatever seat backs are exposed in the Pilot.

canvasback liner. Their website lists 2009-2011 but it fits just as well on my 2012. Make sure you specify which cutouts (if any) you would like; I just wanted the 2nd row child seat tether attachments and 3rd row top center hook so I could still use the rear cargo "hammock" storage thingy. Its a bit pricely but worth it in my opinion because it gives me the greatest flexibility with kids, extended family, pets and shopping trips. They also offer "mocha" for beige interiors and can probably send you a small swatch to see how it matches with your interior.

Boom, that's EXACTLY what I am looking for.

Update: Got a Canvasback in Mocha today.

First of all, the company is GREAT. Wonderful people to work with, and they sent two dog cookies along with the cargo liner.

Observations:

1. These are clearly handmade, which is not a bad thing. I had them make ALL available cutouts (for LATCH tethers, handles, etc) and you can see where they manually stitched the holes. They're not perfectly square, but it doesn't really matter.

2. The velcro is STRONG. Starting with brand new carpets, even adjusting them to their final place "fuzzed" the carpet. This shouldn't be a problem, because there's really no reason to ever remove them.

3. Get your placement perfect (not hard to do). I accidentally removed the underfloor storage lid from its hinges by having the velcro on the wrong side of the seam. No worries, it all went back together.

All in all, this is the cargo liner Honda should have made in the first place. I'm glad they didn't, because Canvasback is great to work with. This is a must-have for any dog owner.
