Default Tan or Gray Leather Interior??

Looking at pre-owned 09' or 10' Pilots and am trying to decide between gray and tan leather interior... we are most likely looking at the nimbus gray exterior but are also considering white or black.

Any thoughts on tan/gray leather... pros/cons/which one looks sharper/etc

I have an 07 nimbus gray.....I didn't like the tan interior but loved the dark gray leather that they offered in those years with the nimbus.......when i looked at 2012's i didn't like the new gray leather as it was much lighter than my 07's so I went with black leather.

anyone else have input... anyone get the tan and like/dislike it? Seems like most folks get the gray bc the tan is only available in 2009 nimbus grey or burgundy...

I love the look of our tan, I'm a huge fan of light interiors (the all black interiors of the Europeans turn me off completely) BUT they do get get dirtier faster or at least appear to be so. Keep that in mind.

I have a 2011 EXL with light gray. It really shows the dirt after a month or two. I would have loved a darker gray or possibly the black with the same interior two tone the gray gives me.

As much as I was concerned about it when I first bought it - the black leather has been great. It doesn't show the dirt and compared to some pics I've seen of the grey leather (which would have ordinarily been my preference), it's held up very well.

I was worried about the black being too hot, but with the Pilot's powerful AC, it's really not a big deal at all. Just something to consider...

I have the gray leather on a white 2011 EXL. I think it looks great when clean, but it does show some dirt. Black leather may have been a better choice if you don't want to clean your seats occasionally, but would be too hot for me in the summer months.

If it has to come down to tan vs. gray, I'd go with tan, if it can be found with your exterior choice. However, I prefer the black over them all.

There are more important things to look at and check out on a possible purchase of a used vehicle then the outside or inside colors. First couple of things I would look at would be service history and condition of the vehicle, mileage; etc.. Only then would try to see if I could get the curtains to match the carpet or go with what looks pretty. ;-)

My Ody was Tan and I hate it. Get dirty easily. Pilot and Accord are Black Leather which I love it. Granted, on Summer, put tints on the windows...

Mine is Mocha with tan and I love it. The grey was too light for me.

u know i was confused when i saw postings with a blue interior. i just thought the dealer was confused or the black leather had faded to a bluish leather.

so they really made a dark navy or blue leather interior?

personally, i'd go with black or tan. the grey seems to light and easy to get dirty followed next by the tan. grey also looks like leather seats on a plane and the tan at least gives it a bit more of a luxurious look as does the black.
