I ordered this at $1199 which includes the back-up camera and installation. I should have this in 2 weeks.

I can send you the PDF specs for navi and DVD options if you want.

@Kevin

Keep us posted on how it works out. Does it retain radio/CD player functionality? Steering controls etc?

It looks sharp!

2009 2010 2011 2012 Honda Pilot DVD GPS Navigation Double 2 DIN Radio In-dash | eBay

Found this one, I like it black. Anybody have bought it and installed it???

I seems to work seamlessly with steering controls. I wonder if it keeps the ANC funtion.

I have been jealeous of my neighbor new ford explorer and all the tech into it. Guess this levels the situation....

i have it installed in my pilot and i sure love it! Rick the guy from R-concept in Canada have helped me walk through the whole process of install and using it.

It is worth every penny i spent and looks factory in my car! Now my wife and kid enjoy Long Road trip watching and Navigation is a plus with also backup camera functions.

Pilopimp,

Great, we were waiting for someone to take the first step. can you post pictures? Does it include the ANC (noise cancelling) function?

Could you connect the back up camera?? Is the mirror camera still functional??? Can you add another camera? Like a front camera or a right side camera.

Thanks for taking the fist step!

Those look great. Eagerly awaiting pictures etc.

What control functionality do you have on the steering wheel?
What do you 'have' to do by using the touchscreen?

Do you know if a jogger wheel/button can be installed for scrolling through functions without the reach up to the dash?

At 1199. Very expensive in my opinion. I have an pioneer xt910 double din installed on it and it works great. I paid $300 for unit, bought a single din kit and trimmed it a bit to fit the dash. Looks good.

it is just plug and play. i don't have the rear camera feature because i just bout the navigation unit only not the rear view camera that they insist that i should get one. I didn't want to fool around with factory camera and after market camera so i left it alone, maybe someone else would show us here and i can reconsider on getting one.

As of the control function on the steering wheel i can switch to any channel, ipod, iphone, navigation, bluetooth and so on. etc. just like it was described!

i got my unit for $786.00, The picture quality was my very first concern but it is beyond what i expected. very crisp pictures and dvd!

NOTICE: I did had to send it back to Rick from R-Concept in Canada to update the software that is built in the unit. So before you guys thinking about getting one since i definitely recommend on getting one soon, talk to the customer service or talk to Rick and makesure to tell them to give you the updated software.

i will try to take some picture soon, just been busy at work and planning to get a car starter remote/ maybe Viper VSS3000 or Viper VSS5000 for my iphone. Do anyone have one on their car?

Do you know if there is a way to do firmware updates on your own?

No, you have to send it out to them to update. that's the down fall. but it is under warranty so no worries!

Cool.

Any pictures yet? I am assuming it is installed where the current controls are, not up in the dash display as the DEMO model earlier in the thread is.

Is that correct?

I have been looking at this on EBay for a while. It would be great to see some pics of it installed if possible. Not sure about removing it and sending it out to do firmware upgrade, but if it looks good and functionality is good.........
