Picked up my '12 Touring Friday and put 350 miles on it around the NC Mountains this weekend. Absolutely loving it so far! Bluetooth integration and voice commands are great. Had several Bluetooth phone conversations where the caller said I sounded "better" than normal which I think speaks to how quiet the cabin is. Controls are logical, engine is smooth and the new Nav screen is great. 1 nitpick question on the Nav system. Does anyone know if you can change from "Time to Destination" countdown to "Arrival Time"? While it doesn't really require higher math to convert Time to Destination into Arrival Time I'm finding I miss that quick glance verification of Arrival Time I had on my Garmin.

Sorry, I can't answer your question, but I have one of my own:
Regarding your use of your Bluetooth connection... I've seen on some posts that the pre-2012 Pilot's do not display caller ID on incoming calls (I guess outgoing too). Did you notice if this is still the case? |

I have a 2011. The caller number always shows up in my instrument panel. I do wish the Nav did show arrival time. I miss that from my Garmin. Again, simple math allows me to calculate the time but I would prefer the "arrival time" option myself. Would like to know if there is an answer.

In my 09 Touring purchased 2 weeks ago, I also wanted (expected) arrival time to be displayed in the NAV! Does anyone know if the latest "MAP" disks (or upcoming? 2012 disks) add functionality too? Or just the Map data get's updated?
Case1993, congrats on your purchase! We should schedule a NC mini-meet maybe at a local Dealer on an upcoming weekend. |

Looking at the "Time to Destination" section on Page 58 as well all of the "System Setup" options from page 89 on, there is no mention of toggling to or viewing by arrival time. Furthermore, I did a text search through the entire manual for keyword "time" and then "arrival", and none of the matches indicated this functionality exists. Sorry, can't be done. |

Thanks for taking the time to look - sounds like this feature will have to go on the Honda wish list. As for Bluetooth - you get the same Caller ID that comes across your cell phone. So if the name is programmed in your phone you see name and number on screen for incoming calls. If the name is not programmed in your phone you only see the number. It works so well I actually find myself trying to think of people to call - - - I know that won't last long. I set up the "wallpaper" with a picture of the kids last night. Makes me smile everytime I get in!

Now, only if the Pilot supported SiriusXM's Travel Link service. I had this in my F150, and it was SO nice to see real-time approaching storms on radar so one could find an alternate route... |
