Default 2010 Pilot Touring

Pls help!
Does anyone had expirienced that when in reverse the mirror should tilt down.Ours did not tilt down but instead went up until it was stuck and giving out a very loud clicking noise.called our local dealer and was told that they have not heared of such thing happening... Scheduled an appt for next week...

Sounds like the mirror may be jambed...
Has it ever worked properly?
Has someone inadvertently tried to adjust the mirror while it was being automatically being tiled down?
Have you moved the L-R outside mirror control to the center position to shut off the 'in-reverse tilt down' feature then turned it back on and readjusted the mirror to a normal position; then flip the control, engage reverse and seen if it now tilts down on the affected side?

Thank you for your reply.I did all the things you had mentioned.Yes it was in working order until it happened five days ago.No one tried to adjust the mirror while it was in-reverse tilt down mode.so far it happened on three occations ..

Wonder if the affected mirror goes down when shifting from reverse to drive? ( opposite of what it's supposed to).
