I have a 2011 EX-L that I'm outfitting for rigorous and treacherous commutes to school, work, the grocery, and occasional camping trips. I've picked up floor mats and a trailer wiring harness, so now I'm looking at cargo trays.
There are a few threads regarding cargo trays and floor mats, but I hoped to get some additional info and consolidate good or bad experiences with any of the cargo area protection offerings out there. I almost ordered the OEM liner, but Husky and WeatherTech both have pretty good rep's/followings. My only experience is with a set of Husky mats in a Wrangler that worked just fine. So, are any of these flexible enough to fold up in a pinch if I want to use the 3rd row? Do any of them offer enough grip to keep things from sliding around? Durability? Fit? Any other likes or dislikes? |

My Weathertech liner in the way-back rolls up nicely and with a bungee around it, easily fits behind the third-row when it is up. Fit is fine. It has a bumpy pattern and a slight textured finish, so stuff never seems to slide around (and I live a on mountain, with a steep road). The Honda OEM cargo liner is the most pliable of the three. Its been in use since Sept '08 and has not shown any signs of ware. However, the rear lip will sometimes get flattened if the liner shifts rearward and is smashed by the rear hatch. It springs back up after a while. Honestly I have no complaints about any of the three brands, they are all made out of a durable polymer with the Honda OEM being the lightest. All have a nubby surface but things will slide on them. The Husky has been in use since 2000 in the '01 Suburban, then into an '05 Ody and has been in the Pilot too. I expect all will give a long service life. I haul dogs in crates and gear and the liners get a lot of use protecting the floors.
