Default 2010 Pilot - How do you program the transponder?

I have a 2010 honda pilot and I bought a spare key at e-bay. Can anybody tell me how to program the transponder on this? The car alarm is by KARR.

I saw a couple of websites that provided instructions on how to do this. Is this accurate?

and

Am I mixing up the alarm from the transponder?

Thanks in advance.

Take it to your honda dealer and tell them it's not working. A lot simpler.
