Try this one. I'm unaware of any differences between the 2010 and 2011. Metra is the company that does a bunch of double din kits
METRA 99-7876 Dash kit for mounting an aftermarket radio Honda Pilot 2009 Radio Installation Kit ISO Mount only Under radio pocket DASHKITS;

Rocky thanks for your quick reply. That looks like a single DIN kit. I am unable to find a double din kit anywhere. Looks like because of the tapered design of the dash, a double din may not fit. If this is the case i am severely bummed.
Wonder if that one can be modified? hmm. |

I just called crutchfield and they said they do not have a kit for the car. Thanks for your reply maxummus.
I have been scouring the web for 2 hours. Starting to think this is a losing battle. |

I think you might be SOL on this one. If you measure it horizontally, there's just not enough room there for a double-DIN opening. With that said, with a bit of hacking, you could probably make one fit. But that would mean modifying the two panels that flank the stereo. It really wouldn't be that hard of a job, but unless you're really good with surfacing plastics, it might look kind of tacky.

My bad, I rushed the reading of your post and went single din.
In this thread Aftermarket Double Din Radio 2009 Pilot the poster links a double din unit and even posts a picture installed. http://www.piloteers.org/forums/atta...0276_small.jpg One major problem. the vendor's website has gone. Suggest you contact the OP of that thread to see if he recalls who the manufacturer of the unit was. Good luck.

2009 Honda Pilot Instrument Panel Garnish (Driver Side), 5DR EX (2WD) KA 5AT B__3710
That part number is located on the link above. Can you look please? Is #33 a double din dash kit? Not sure if it matter that it is 2009.. |

Unfortunately none of the aftermarket kit companies (Metra, Scosche, Best Kits, AI) make a double-din kit. You have go the custom route. One of our members fabricated his using part #33 that you referenced above. Here's the link. Aftermarket Double Din Radio 2009 Pilot

Here is a picture from pioneer usa website of a local car stereo shop installed a 2-DIN dvd navigation on the OEM HU location.
Pioneer USA - Fit Guide Personally, it doesn't look good because of the shape of the 2 side pillar partially covering the bottom corners and making a gap on the upper corners of the HU.

Does anyone know if the undercoating will lessen road noise significantly?
Also, is anyone aware of a deep sided trunk rack and availability location? |
