It looks like they're still selling them but they no longer have their prices online. Same goes for hyannis honda.

To anyone looking for a HC warranty: If you go to HyannisHondaCare.com you can go thru the process of entering your vehicle, year, mileage, etc... pick your warranty but then there's a place for your e-mail address to e-mail for more info. I would simply call them (I've talked to Bob Leab before) and ask them what the price is for the HondaCare warranty for your year/make/model. It will likely be MUCH less than the $1700 (LOL) your local finance person wants to charge you. For instance, when I bought my 2nd civic, they offered me a warranty for $1,300. The same warranty was purchased a day later from Hyannis for about $500 less. That's money IN THE BANK.

Don't get me wrong though, Hyannis may be taking prices offline to start jacking them up and making more of a profit (Again, I'm not affiliated with them in any way, shape, or form) so don't be afraid to offer a lil less or just tell them you'll call back and cross-shop Saccucci for prices as well.

IIRC Saccucci was offering the warranty but it was $25 more than Hyannis (this was when BOTH posted their prices online) but you got a $25 "gift certificate" to buy any accessory from them... That's why I went wit Hyannis Honda the 2nd time around. It may have changed so be sure to contact BOTH of them before making a warranty purchase.

I may be wrong about them refunding the difference of the unused warranty but I was pretty sure that when I bought my 1st civic, I got a 3rd party warranty and one of the big selling points of that warranty was that they WOULD refund the "unused" portion of the warranty whereas Honda (HondaCare) would not... I may be mistaken though or they may have been feeding me a line so that I would go with theirs. Actually, so I would stay with theirs. See... they were crafty and set me up with an "Extended warranty" but didn't ever mention that it was 3rd party. When I got the booklet in the mail, I found out that it was some janky company that the dealership owner had interest in which is why they were pushing them. I cancelled it within the 30 days and got my ~$1300-1500 back and bought a HondaCare warranty from Saccucci honda for ~$850 instead. Sold that car and bought a Civic Si Sedan. This time I told the finance lady that I'd buy her HondaCare warranty but I wasn't going to pay the $1300, I would give her $800 for it instead. She said no and asked why I would present such a low offer. I explained to her my experience buying the HondaCare online from saccucci and she told me that it was probably "fake" and that she would be weary buying a HondaCare warranty online. Oh well... her loss.

oh and fwiw my civic is too new to have utilized the HondaCare warranty purchased online from Hyannis Honda but I did call my local dealership, gave them my VIN and they pulled it up and confirmed that it was covered under the Extended HondaCare warranty until 120,000 miles or X/X/2013 whichever comes first.

Small world... I bought my 2nd Civic Si (sedan) from Castrucci honda in Dayton as well. They are actaully going to be my go-to when my wife and I start looking for a pilot. When I wanted my 1st Civic Si coupe, I wanted Black w/navi, HFP underbody kit, HFP wheels... the works. They actually quoted me the LOWEST price for the car. Very first offer from them beat EVERY other dealership I had been talking to and dealing with. Problem was, it was a hard-to-find color/options.

Fast forward over a year and I had found, bought and drove my Civic coupe. I really wanted a sedan and my parents wanted to buy my coupe. On a whim, I e-mailed Castrucci to see if they had any Si sedans on the lot and if so, what color. They emailed me back and gave me an ASTONISHING low price of something like $19,400 or something. (MSRP was like 21 or 22) I thought "yeah right... bait and switch" or "give me the low price to get me to the dealership and then tack on all kinds of other 'fees' or something".

Nope. Went down that weekend and talked to the lady I was e-mailing with (Cindy) and it was on. Took a long time (4 hours) and she really did try to make a few extra bux along the way... jacking around with financing and trying to get me to trade my Civic coupe in (which I was selling to my parents). All in all, twice now they've offered me the best internet price over all other dealerships I've contacted.

Glad to see they are willing to deal on the Pilots too. I'm hoping to work something out with them in the not-so-distant future!

Did you buy the Pilot from Castrucci on ebay?

So I got a quote from Curry Honda online for the Honda Care warranty. This is who I got it from last time after the Odyssey dealer sold me their other warranty without disclosing it to me that it was not Honda Care. When we went to cancel it, they made a huge stink about it. They were AWFUL to deal with throughout the entire process. I actually went to the same dealer when I initially test drove the Pilot Touring. They actually told me that I would have to pay a premium (above MSRP) for a Touring b/c they were so "rare" and "exclusive." Then I would also have to put down $500 for them to locate the car which could take at least a week. WHATEVER?!?!

The dealership I bought my Pilot from has been top notch. So I got the quote from Curry Honda which was much much less than my dealer. I called the dealer told them about it. They said as long as I had it in writing, they would honor the lower price. No haggling, no hemming & hawing. I walk in, redid my paperwork, and saved $700.

I got the 6 yr / 100,000k warranty for $1095 if anyone is shopping around.

Ordered my Pilot Touring yesterday for $37,287 (truecar.com lists dealer cost at $36,953). Honda dealers (i.e. my local dealership, Appletree) may say that they won't deal/bargain, but do not be fooled... Honda is offering them dealer cash just for selling the car. I finally had a salesman tell me this, he gave the best price, and I bought from him.

2011 Black on Black Touring

$36,400 Destination Included plus TTL

Purchased a 7yr/100K Warranty....which added $2000. If it's from a 3rd Party can I request a refund and buy a Honda Care Warranty?

Just bought the car on July 6th

check Overstock | Car Buying Home Page

They have some great prices and dealers compete with a click of the button. That's how I got mine. 2010 Pilot Touring (nav) for $31,750. Its at the very least a good benchmark for prices.

Bought 2011 Touring AWD loaded for $36,700 (destination included) yesterday. Other dealers (e.g. Herb Chambers - bad experience) didn't even come close. Honda North in Danvers, MA was great for the sale - our first Honda.

Hi, first time posting. I just got a 2010 preowned (5K) Touring 4WD w/Navi for $33,000. I probably could have offered less but I am new to the used car dealing biz. with tax and license I paid 36,000. Oh well, the car is like new.

New 2011 EX-L, 33370 plus TTL. The first dealer I went to tried to tell me I'd have to pay sticker. Right.

Hi,
I just had the same issue (this week). Curry Honda quoted me 7yr/100k for $1300 for a Honda Care Warranty. Dealer charged me $1790. It doesn't matter if you purchased a Honda Care or 3rd Party, you should have 30 days to cancel. They can either refund you the money or match the price if it is Honda Care. If it's a 3rd party, definitely get a refund!!

LMK how it goes. Go to Curry Honda's website & the will immediately email you a quote so you have it in writing to deal with your dealer.

Good Luck!

Some of you people are as stoned as rats if you expect me to believe that Honda is selling Pilots at below cost. Please mention the fact that your trade in brought your final total down.
