0% financing?

Current financing rate is 0.9%. With all the bad things happening in financial market, do you think Honda will offer a 0% rate on '09 Pilots?

0% financing is a scam. They just charge you more for the car.

Go in to a dealer and tell them you're paying cash; no financing, no trade-in. See what price you get. Then tell the salesman you'd like to take advantage of the 0% financing they're currently offering. See what happens to the price.

I have never seen Honda offer 0% financing. I see that Toyota is starting to offer it, but if you read the fine print... it's for only 36 months.

Like krygny said, it's all a scam. His recommended approach will make sure that you get the best price AND be able to take advantage of the low financing. If you go into a dealership and ask about the financing right away, you'll likely not get the best price for the vehicle.

You're probably better off getting a very good deal on an '08 Pilot with the year-end clearance going on ('09s coming in).
