I think you are the 1st to post a 110mph @ 4500 rpm!!! It's nice to do it in the open country-side eh. Just be carefull...

BTW, nice pictures of your Pilot w/ Alaska's natural beauty in the background...

LOL...my pilot ate a bird once too! I saw the bird, I looked in the rear view mirror, no bird. I pulled over a mile or so later and there was poor tweety stuck in my grille. Poor little thing I wasn't doing 110, only 40 or so, so I didn't get the mess you did. We're murderers Gorgeous scenic shots, btw. The LX wheels look a lot nicer out in the wild than the brochure, makes the Pilot look more truck-like too, IMO.

Nailed a bird years ago with the radio antenna - gross. But the worst was the time I was on a business trip with three co-workers in a rental car. I was in the back with another guy, and a bird flew in the driver's window, grazed the guy beside me, hit the rear window, and suffered a horrible death on the rear deck, after throwing feathers all over the inside of the car.

Needless to say, when we stopped for lunch, none of us ordered chicken.

Have you looked into your control panel settings? (That orange link in the upper left of a screen where you're reading a post.)

I thought maybe there was a problem there too. Worm checked it out & all OK there. Thinks it may be a setting in my XP?

Very strange not to see avatars either.

I'll post a HELP thread in Comp/Elect forum so as not to drift this one.

Thanks Jay!

Default i think...

...the tach was on the redline then got down to 45krpm due to the speed limiter kicking in. i could feel my s_hincter tightening going that fast, pretty scary...won't do it again though.
