Sunday Rider/ Kettlinton /Scoobs : Thanks guys.

Scoobs :Being in a safe vehicle was one of the reasons we got
the pilot. Also my wife Jane found the running boards
very useful while she was pregnant. She still uses it now.
The only thing is that the baby sometimes does not
like his car seat and the pilot drive is so smooth that
he does not notice that we are moving ( unless we
are on a road that is rather bumpy). He does like the
noise of the portable vacuum we have in the car

congrats on the new one! it's a greatest joy to have a little one! my son was born 7-17-04 i traded my 02 Montero for the Pilot beacause of the same reasons from safety & etc... my wife does like the fact that she doesn't climb into the vehicle... and it's so much easier to put in & out the baby carrier too. well any who, congrats!

oh yea, i have three dogs that loves the pilot better for the room

03pilotish: Congratulation as well ! Your son looks so cute . I bet you just couldn't contain your joy when he first smiled at you.
Do you use the seat belts or the latch system ? Where do you
have his carrier ( in the middle or on one of the sides) ?

Nice pictures of the dogs.

pilot_chip:

there's no words to express how i felt when i saw him smile @ me for the very first time... well, still when he smiles @ me, there's no words @ all to express it

about the car seat... we have the carseat by evenflo that's part of the travel system... the one that can turn into hand carrier.... i have seat in behind the front passenger seat and we use the LATCH system. we have his seat to one side because my wife sits in the other when we go anywhere... that way baby won't feel left alone if you wanna see how i have it set up, i'll take a pic for ya and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask

We purchased the Britax car seat. I about fell over when my wife told me how expensive it was, but after using it I definately think that it is worth the money. It had the highest safety rating from CR when I purchased.

I have used many other car seats, and none compares to the Britax.
