A summary of my installation of Westin Rear Bumper Guard:
First, it arrived via FedEX yesterday in a big brown box.

the contents of the box: 2 rear mounting brackets and a bag of bolts, washer and nuts.

Tools needed for installation: 9/16" open/end wrench; 7/32 allen wrench; ratchet wrench; 9/16" regular and deep socket; torque wrench set to 32-37 ft-lbs; tape measure.

I remove the full size spare tire to have more room for the installation of the 2 brackets.

Loosely mount the brackets, attach the bumper guard to the brackets, allign and center it using a tape measure. Tighten all the bolts to 32-37 ft-lbs.

There are four existing holes to wedge the stud plate.

I have been wanting one of the rear bumper guards ever since I saw pictures of the one on Ohau Dave's green Pilot. I just got the safari bar this week, so we may order the rear one sometime in the next month or two. I like the extra protection they add.

Dang, the bumper guard looks awesome. How much and from which vendor? And the Pilot looks spotless! Haven't had much rain lately, huh? We just had 3.8 in of rain in a couple of hours yesterday.

Bought it a trucktoys4less.com and used the club discount for 5% off.

Total with shipping after the 5% off came to $159.80

We just had 3.8 in of rain in a couple of hours yesterday. __________________ 2003 EX-L Starlight Si, Perfect Fit Deflector, Rear Splash Guards, V51311, 50K. 15-19MPG City, 22MPG Hwy, AC on high 1999 CR-V LX, Sebring Si, 159K and counting, 25MPG Mostly Hwy-- A diesel-powered Honda in '09? _______________ Pilot nits/fixes: SRS Reprogramming, tranny fix, driver's seat plastic trim fix (2X), rear storage latch fix, suspension fix, brake shim fix, and from time to time, creaks (or rattles?) from behind the dashboard, 70 +/- 2 MPH vibration. V nits/fixes: road noise; timing belt replaced @ 65K, "idle assembly" replaced @ 150K
