Well, here she is!

As promised, a pic of my 20 mile-old white navi Pilot. Just picked up today.

(this is also to keep Jay off my case!)

Neat.
Are you going to keep that Honda plate on the front (are you allowed to)? It looks nice.

Default Accessories?

I keep looking at everyones accessories, and i am going to work on the husband to night. The mud guards seem to be must have, but I really like the look of the cross bars. Don't really understand what the wheel locks do..... Well Duh! I guess they lock the wheels.....LOL But do you really need them? Would someone really steal your tires? Any other suggestions on must haves?

If I'm not mistaken, Florida doesn't have a front license plate, right???

kemosabe, tim.s: Nope, no license plate needed up front in FLA FLA land. Thinking of putting something there, or just taking it off.

tak, Yes, I agree, white is my favorite, easy to maintain, and with the black door handles, etc, I think it looks neat. But I think silver and sandstone are a great 2nd choice.

So far, no accessories, but I plan on getting:
Rear Mud flaps, cross bars, fog lights, cargo cover, cargo tray, those plastic floor mat thingies. So many of the things rkcavender wants, but a bit more perhaps.

And thinking about:
Rear Camera, rear sensors, auto day/night mirror.

Just put on 177 miles on her today, she had a good drive. Trying to go easy on her for the break-in, so no high speed chases, or running down mailboxes for awhile.

Went up and down A1A here in East-Central florida. I work at Kennedy Space Center, and took a drive to work (45 miles)...I know, I know...I must be nuts to drive to work on a Saturday. But hey, I wanted to make sure my car Navi knew the way!

Congrats on the new white Pilot, looks great.

White was also my first choice, but they didn't have one on the lot when I needed it so we got our second choice, which is Sandstone. I like it very much now and it's moved into first place.

My last 3 cars were also white, and I owned all 3 of them at the same time; only one remains. It was easy to give directions to someone ... almost at the end of the block on the right side, the house with 3 white cars in the driveway.

I was just driving along that same route on the 19th. We took the long way home from a funeral in that general area, and we stopped to look at the cruise ships in Port Canaveral, a very nice drive. For those not familiar with the area around the Space Center, it's a protected wildlife area and we passed some medium sized alligators resting quietly in the sun along the banks of the waterway, about 75 feet from the road.

And this time of year, those gators like to spend more time OUT of the water.

There is a pond here at KSC where there are sooo many gators, makes you think you landed at GatorWorld! Great pic taking opportunity.

If it's in an area accessible to the public and if you can let me know where it is, I can look for it when I get down there again. I don't get a chance to go there very often, but maybe the next time my daughter and her family come down, I can look for it.

thanks

Congrats, and nice color, good choice!

Definitely get the mud flaps, auto day/night mirror and all the drop in accessories as soon as you can. You can install the rear camera and the rear back-up sensors at the same time, so you just disassemble the rear bumper and the rear interior panels one time only.

If you would like to DIY the installation, there are a lot of DIY instructions, pictures and tips in this site. Just use the search feature. If you would like to see installed accessories go to the Gallery of Installed Pilot Accessories in this gallery section.

Happy motoring and watch out for those gators.
