i hope nobody was seriously hurt! it looks like your pilot held up well, but i can't say the same for that (GMC?) van. how fast was the guy going when he hit you?

a little soreness in the shoulders from the driver of the pilot. the chevy was doin about 30mph apon impact and did not have the airbag deploy.

Default How strong the Pilot is...

It hurts to see a Pilot all banged up, but compare the difference in damage. The van that hit the Pilot suffered so much more damage!

When I purchased my Pilot, the financial officer told me a story of how his son's Pilot was rear ended 30 MPH faster than his vehicle was going.
The Pilot had to have its rear fender replaced and the muffler pipe fixed.
The vehicle that hit them, a Volvo sedan, had to be towed away.

Pilots are built like rocks. Super safe!

i believe the reason why the van had so much more damage is because the front ends of vehicles are designed to crumple, absorbing the impact of the crash and thus protecting the occupants. in any case, i agree, the pilot is a very safe vehicle.
