Yes, we had pretty nice weather that day. This was my first visit to the castle in all the years going up to Morro Bay to visit a friend.

awesome pictures! during my visit at hearst castle, the outdoor pool was under construction so it had been drained. i can't believe how much nicer it is with water in it!

Thanks for sharing. I was there w/ the family last March & we couldn't see the Morro Rock due to heavy fog.

Thanks for the comments. It was kinda foggy that day as you can see at the top of the rock. I love this area of the central coast. It's so scenic and peaceful.

Thanks for looking. Apparently, in the olden days, they used the rock for navigation purposes.
