Default Newbie, and obligatory photo's

A 2nd Hello Everybody from Vancouver, Canada.
As requested, a few photo's.

And yes it's cold! Does not usually snow too much around Vancouver, but we got an early shot of winter. Of course our hot water boiler breaks the day before the cold snap, the warmest place in the house is the new Pilot! It's supposed to snow this evening, and we are heading into town for a Rolling Stones Concert, so I get to put the AWD to the test.

Installed this later, for owners in BC/Alberta try CAP-IT truck accessories.

Congrats and welcome to HP.org. Nice looking Pilot, plus I like the accessories you added.
Lots of info here for Pilot owners plus many non-Pilot issues.

Great looking Pilot!!

Love the side steps - would heartily recommend a set of wwong's non-slip pads for the side steps - they're the rough, sandpaper-ish material, and it's a must-have for those otherwise slippery steps, IMHO!

Sorry, my ears a ringing, I'm having trouble reading your post.

look for Rolling Stones Photo's

Concert was great. They did pretty much all the old stuff. A huge stage with a gigantic screen in the middle, and the center part rolled out across the floor to the other end of the stadium, suddenly we had $200 seats for 3 or 4 songs!

Mic has the energy of a 20 year old, he would run the width and even down the stage track and back , (almost a whole football field) and not be out of breath to sing.

Great performance, though the sound was not the best I have heard, but it never is in BC Place stadium.

On a Honda note, we got a foot of snow , did not seem to have any problems delivering my friend back to his house which sits on top of a very large hill , and the roads were not plowed.

I was never sure if the AWD kicked in, did see the light flash once when the tires spun (I tried to make them spin).

Well, I have to go find a snow shovel, I think its buried behind the patio furniture in the shed.

Very nice Pilot Canadian_bacon.

I think the East and West have switched weather.
This is the first time I have put up the Christmas lights in a t-shirt!

Have fun in the snow with the Pilot. I love that colour.

Being that this is a slightly used Pilot, and came with Navigation (If I had a choice I would rather have had the Rear Entertainment System) we might consider a 3rd party RES. Not at all sure if its even possible considering there is a sunroof in it.

But alas, it will have to wait, 1 week after we bought this, our hot water heat boiler sprung a leak, and it will cost about $5k to replace it. Of course this happens on the coldest stretch of weather this year, and when we get a foot and a half of snow (which almost never happens in Vancouver).

I'm not so much for making it flashy on the outside, I quite like how it looks with the deflector and the step bars. I'm not into chrome, it just means more work keeping it clean.

Will probably invest in either a cargo tray or cargo liner (any opinions on that?) .

Also would like some kind of bike rack come summer time, a rear mounted thing. I like the swagman type racks, that mount on the hitch post. Don't have a hitch post, I assume I can get one for a bike rack without somebody telling me I need the towing package to get a hitch post installed?

I have an '07 EX-L w/RES and it has a moonroof, so it is possible to add in an aftermarket RES.

I have even read on this forum that you can link it into the NAV system and get the video on the NAV screen.
