Default Noob Here! My new 07 EX-L RES Galaxy Gray

Hi Everyone! Just thought I'd introduce myself here. I've seen this forum before because I used to own a 2003 EX-L RES Silver, but recently traded that in for a 2007 EX-L RES Galaxy Gray! I learned a lot from beating up my previous Pilot and I plan on showing my new 5 day old one a lot more love!

So far the only upgrades I've done are changing the bulbs of the headlight, fog, and parking to PIAA's. I've also added my cable for my Ipod which I had on my previous car. In the future, I plan on getting wwong's interior pads and the interior lights changed to the bulbs from superbrightleds.com's site. I also plan for TVs in the headrests and passenger sunvisor, but it's not really an immediate priority for me at this time.

Enough of my rambling and on with the pics:

Look what I found inside the armrest...

Too bad it's not 3-pronged. I play a lot of airsoft and could use it to charge my batteries. I also miss the jack being right below the AV inputs. (It's no longer there in this model.)

First: "WELCOME back".
Second: A 2008, huh? That is pretty new!

I didn't reallize the 07 had a 120 (?) outlet in the armrest. I'm wishing I had that so I don't have to buy charging cables.

I think it is only in the RES version.

Beautiful Pilot. This is the first post I've seen of the '07. I really like that color.

Yes, in the '06 with RES, there is a 120v in the arm rest.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome!

Oops! I put 08! Sorry bout that! I corrected it. It's an 07 model. So far the outlet is the only thing I noticed different from the 06 model. No need for attachments or converters. I'm just going to look for one attachment for 2-prong to 3.

I'm currently just snooping around the car to see the differences from my 03. Pilots are just the best IMO! When I first got my 03 I didn't like it because I wanted the Toyota Sequoia, but after noticing things like the great turning radius of the Pilot, Cup holders for everyone (Not even my uncle's 03 MDX has those! He has to flip the arm rest all the way back for the rear passengers!), great gas mileage, and numerous features, I just fell in love and forgot I ever even wanted a Sequoia! So with my 07 I plan to do many things to her and document the progress here along the way!

Cool. Does the REs model have just 12V outlets everywhere else (dash, back of console, etc...)?

Now that I know it exists, it would be a cool MOD for the other models.

Part #63 in the picture below. But I suspect it will take more than just the outlet. I wonder were the power converter is...

That's the only one I know of. The one in the back is like the other models.

I took some dusk shots, but due to the lack of shutter speed and aperature knowledge, my pics don't do my lights any justice!

Here are the boxes of the bulbs I used in case anyone would want to know:

The bulbs inside the boxes are the stock ones.

HMMM I like the Galaxy grey! Not too dark, but not too light either.

I saw a couple of the Wine color Pilots on my road trip last weekend at the dealership by the highway....they looked pretty nice, too.

Congrats on another Pilot!

congret and welcome. if u had a Pilot before, what takes so long for you to find this forum?

110v with 2-pronged is not a problem. U can go to dollar store to get a 3 to 2 prong adapter for under a dollar. 1 dollar for 2 of them. I got them for my old Compaq laptop which has a 3 prong plug.

looks like this....
