Default Update Pilot Photos

Here's a new picture of my pilot. I just completed detailing it...total time 16 hours!

Anyway, since I bought it, I've added a bug deflector, moonroof visor and a new grill

thanks everybody. Too bad black only stays clean for 15 minutes or so!

Has anybody noticed the painted fender flairs in this link. I would love to add that

i do love those fender flares on that black pilot. u ever notice his "full frontal" pic makes his pilot look as if it was lowered? but is that some camera illusion or something? i definitely want to get the flares but i'll see how my new rims change the look of the pilot first.

btw...very nice lookin' pilot

I wouldn't add the fender flares unless you plan to upgrade to larger wheels and wider tires. The flares would probably make the OEM 16" wheels & tires look even smaller than they already look now.

Why Honda doesn't put larger standard wheels on the Pilot is beyond me.
The size of this SUV just begs for larger rubber and wheels!!!

I agree with you 787_Pilot. That's the only reason I put them on, because my rim/tire combo ended up sticking out too much -- actually, just a little bit but enough to throw too much stuff up that might scratch, mess up, whatever, the NBP paint.

I had to paint them because I thought it would look better that way. I am glad that everything turned out well with my mod.

As far as the "full frontal" shot, I think it's just the angle of the shot. I didn't modify the ride height at all. Here is a slightly different angle:

BTW, jsfofec, congrats on your new NBP Pilot. Welcome to the world of having to be anal to keep it clean. Oh well, they look nice clean don't they.

that's right, its an OEM grille. I think it's new, I never came across one on any Honda sights until about a month ago.

I never thought about the tire size with the fender flairs, it wouldn't look right unless the tires were big enough to match
