I like the looks of this better than the factory grill. How much did you pay and where did you get it. Was it hard to install??? Thanks

Only 20 mins. to install?
That's with a front bumper removal isn't it?
Looks longer, but if it's that easy, I'm going for it.

Sharp look grille. I like the chrome around it. Make the grille stand out.

This grille can be purchased at any Honda dealer as an accessory for 2006 Pilots. H and A sells it for $234. The installation required 20 minutes of actual work, but about another 30 minutes of thinking how to do it without removing the bumper...

I never removed the bumper. You need to remove the clips at the top of the grill per the Honda instruction sheet. The cover panel will come completely off just as in the instructions. Then if you reach your hands through the opening in the bumper BELOW the grill you will find 5 clips holding the bottom of the grille to the bumper there as well. They are mounted upside down and if you use a small flat-sided screwdriver and twist to pop the top of the clip out - it will be done in no time. You don't need to be a contortionist, but you do need to feel everything with your hands as you will not be able to see what you're doing. My next attempt will be the installation of the ATF cooler while leaving the bumper on. It appears that by removing the bottom plastic (black) panel there is sufficient access to mount and connect the cooler - a combination of reaching up from the bottom and through the opening below the grille.

I think this is a huge improvement over the 2006 factory grille. I prefer the look of the black center with the chrome surround over the horizontal silver bars of the OE grille.

Similar to Honda's alternative grill for the Ridgeline...which makes the Ridgeline look much better than stock....
