MDX's do not come with HID's.

I beleive the touring edition comes with HIDs...

Nope, no MDX comes with HID's. This has been threaded before. After a long debate it came down to no HID's. Why I am not sure. Maybe Honda/Acura is waiting to put auto leveling in the MDX rather than blind everyone since the MDX sits higher than all there cars. Honda and there saftey thing I guess. I guess all the other car co. don't care. LOL

That's right, MDX's do not come with HID's. Once you try HID's you cannot live without it. This is why I had to upgrade the stock setup.

To answer ecsw's question, I purchased it from Visionbulbs.com. If you guys are interested, there is a group buy that is almost ending in the MDX forum.

Someone had put on a diffrent thread that the 06 MDX in Canada does now come with HID's. But I am not sure since I live in NorCal.

While I agree HID's are great, I feel the projector beam headlights in the '06 Pilot are quite good! Much better than my friends '03 Pilot w/ reflector style headlights and not noticably worse than my '06 GS430 w/ HIDs.

Should the Pilot come w/ a HID option from the factory? Probably. Am I going to go through the hassle and expense of finding a quality aftermarket kit and then having it installed on my Pilot? Probably not. (but best of luck to those of you who do)

The 2006 Canadian published spec said the Pilot came with HIDs. They later put out the correct info and said they came with "HID like" projector beam headlights. No Pilot/MDX ever came with HID lighting. Projector lens, standard (H-11) bulbs.
