Default Got my '06 EXL - Green tonight!!!

Well after a short wait, I got the truck tonight even though we had about 4" of snow when I went to pick it up. I took the pictures of the truck in the shop before it got hit with the road salt. Took it home tonight and installed the side bars, rear muds, trailer hitch and wiring harness. Then took it for a boot in the snow. Will post the accessories on the truck tomorrow in the light.

Nice pictures. That is a great colour.

Too bad you had to deal with that snow. Can't believe you added all those accessories in 1 night. Great work.

Did you notice any difference in the way it handled in the snow compared to the '03?

Congratulations on the new Pilot!

My '03 was ALL over the road on the way to the dealership to do the swap. I completely attribute that to the Good Year Integrity's and that they had 50k on them. It was to the point though that I had little confidence in the truck on wet days as I could feel the tires slipping lots. I could corner, punch the gas and fish tail all over. The '06 was so boring on the way home in terms of handling. Handled like a dream even with the Bridgestone's Dueler's. Looking forward to driving it today in the light.

The Integrity tires are only so so if they have lots of tread left. I put the snow tires on at the right time on Tuesday night! They make a huge difference, they also take the bumps much better.
Can't wait to see your new ride in person next week.
You will be the only one driving with a big smile this a.m. in rush hour!

Contratulations.

Two thoughts?
1) What's an ammonite and why did Honda call it Ammonite Green.
Looks good though.

2) You've got more room in your garage than me, to put all of those accessories on in one night.

Enjoy the Pilot.

Love that color - it looks like another chameleon color like SBP - except this one is kind of a greenishy-brown. I wonder if it's the same as "Amazon Green" in the US?

Told you those Bridgestones were decent tires - now things might be different with a few more miles on them - but I'm pleased so far.

Congratulations!

Yes, it's the same as Amazon Green in the U.S. Why they don't keep things more the same I don't know why. You guys all have the satalite radio in your Pilots EXL and up but we don't. We just have the regular.

The tires are great but I know what you mean in terms of losing their grip as they get older. Handling with them was great today.

I don't really see the color as being chameleon. The pictures were taken under florescent lighting in the shop at night. During the day, there's no mistaking it as green! I LOVE THE OLIVE Leather/accents!!!

It sure looks like Amazon Green here in the US, and in your pictures looks a lot better on a Pilot than it does in real life on a Ridgeline.

Congrats!
