Well,
This thread has certainly generated some interesting and funny comments, although I don't think it's worthless.
I wanted a charcoal gray Pilot which is not made in the U.S. and my wife wanted a midnight blue Pilot which wasn't made in 2005 and we both liked the SBM, so that's what we got. Don't think I don't hear about it. My opinion is, if something works, run with it.
