Default Take Heart

Maybe not the last - sometimes baseball games get snowed out. And congratulations on your latest arrival ... whenever it was.

Thanks! The stork came last July but Mr. & Mrs. Snow People were only around for a couple of days. No, no more snow ... it's time to put the top down.

It's never too late to post pics like that. Beautiful looking family you have there robrecht! May they have many reasons to continue to show those great smiles!

Regards.

Ahhh, your pictures made me so happy. Always nice to see sweet little smiling faces. We have that same Parents magazine Toy, the kids LOVED it. Even the bigger kids. FYI, don't pick it up by the wires, they'll eventually pull out and have sharp rusty ends. Just thought I'd let you know.

Look at your cute little family in the doorway How old are your kiddoes now? Seems like just yesterday that #2 was on the way! They grow fast don't they?

Thanks, BigDogDad and 74PilotMom!

The big buddy boy is going to be 3 in May and the little buddy boy will be 1 in July. I took the day off yesterday to go horse back riding and spend some time with them before they go off to college. They sure do grow fast!

That's funny, since my oldest son was born I always called him my buddy. When our second son came along it was big buddy and little buddy. They turn 9 and 6 this summer. They actually gave me the nickname "The Big Dog" and from there Big Dog Dad... so it stuck. Fatherhood is the best!

I hate to butt into Robrecht's thread, but I just took this one today and had to show it off.

That's what we call a happy Tyler! He's been collicky lately, so this is a rare moment.

Great pic, well worth showing off! Here's to you and the Mrs. getting some much deserved rest. The first few months are rough sleep wise but it does get better. All the best for the little guy!

You have a colicky kid and you snapped a picture!! Are you crazy??!! You took a chance on the snap of the camera waking that kid up? Seriously, my first kid had colic; only thing that got us through it was the fact there are no 21 year olds with colic, it has to end sometime. Hope you have a good pediatrician. WE did but a friend had a doctor that said it was just the anxiety of the new parents! Did my anxiety decide to go wake that kid up at 3AM and make them cry like that??

BTW, that colicky daughter is now 21, in college, and is the love of my life. (Got her the family's first Honda, a used Civic. Got to start the off right you know.)

Congratulations to all on some great looking kids. enjoy them and treasure every moment.

That's really good to hear, Sportymonk. I swear, the way that kid cries sometimes, I wonder if it's more than just gas. Scares the crap out of me. He even grunts and groans in his sleep (constantly).

I really appreciate the assurance. Our pediatrician is wonderful and has prescribed gas drops that help tremendously.
