Beautiful, waynerd, do you get to work out of your home office everyday? We have a place up in the Adirondacks that I wasn't able to visit during peak color this year but at least I'm enjoying the NJ rendition now.

Beautiful shot!!! I can relate to all the leaves. We generally have about 4 consectutive weekends of blowing/raking/vacuuming them up at our house. Sure are pretty though!!

There are 2 theories to raking:
1. when all the leaves have fallen
2. every couple of days

I tried theory #1 a few years ago....the leaves were a foot or more deep!

You forgot #5, the favorite in Southern California.

5) Cut down everytree so there is no leaves or tree to have to deal with.

They better be careful this time of year! We used to have wild turkeys in our old neighborhood, but there were always a few less after Thanksgiving.
