I bought a bluetooth unit that works with a few apps for my phone. I found "Torque" most usefull and can be used for real time logging while you drive, without a cord to deal with. Pulls codes with internet links to find more info, kinda nice. Still, you only get the basic code, without as much in depth detail as dealers see.

BAFX Products (TM) - ELM 327 Bluetooth OBD2 scan tool - For check engine light and other diagnostics - Android compatible : Amazon.com : Automotive BAFX Products (TM) - ELM 327 Bluetooth OBD2 scan tool - For check engine light and other diagnostics - Android compatible : Amazon.com : Automotive

And still no feed for trans temp or oil temp for Hondas. Very disappointing no one has firgured out how to read these sensors, cause we all know they are there!

I bought a BAFX bluetooth OBD-II adapter from Amazon and connect to it with the Torque app on my Android phone. Works pretty well.

For those of you that are using the "Torque" app, what information do you get from it? I'm interested in getting one to monitor temps while towing, any idea if this info is available?

I have an understanding of the app. What I'm wondering is what outputs Honda had enabled - hopefully temps for transmission, water, oil, etc?

Honda greatly limits what you can monitor. Of what you listed, only water temp is available.

Thanks for the response. I figured it would be limited. Might give it a try anyway and see what I can get out of it.
