Default Roof Lights/roof rack/brush gurad w lights Plastidip on 05 pilot

Hello all, i have a 05 pilot (in the avatar photo) i wanted to get a safari/roof rack for having cargo on the roof. I have oem side rails but no cross bars. Also i was considering a light bar/roof lights to go with it and possibly adding a few more lights on the brush guard. I have a few questions i hope i can get answers

1. Do you need cross bars for roof/safari racks

2. fuel economy effects of roof lights and safari racks

3. Install difficulty of roof lights/safari lights

4. Led light bars for safari lights/ brush guard lights are tehy bright any good

5. Do you need to drill holes for roof lights

6. can i have multiple sets/systems of lights on a brush guard

7. ways to hide wires on a brush guard(the light rail is only a sheet, not a hollow tube)

8. can i install a second horn that is independently operated from the oem or a switch to flip back and forth from oem horn to aftermarket horn(like a truck/air horn)

9. Plastidip for wheels any input from experience

10.decals with plastidip any experience

All input is appreciated, i dont know how to upload photos to the thread otherwise i would have to help explain what im talking about, sorry i am a new user but i have scavenged the information as a guest from this forum and always helpful

i'm planning to try dry ice on the hail-sized dents created by the mother-loving hickory nuts this summer. google it. works for some and cheap to try!

1: get the garvin wilderness rack which has light mounts as accessories. this requires Thule to similar crossbars
2: expect a 5mpg hit with rack one. But why care when it looks so cool!
3: wiring relays fuses switches no problem unless you have no idea how to do that
4: led to expensive v halogen. For now.
5: see 1:
6: if you can mount them go for it. Totally breach federal lighting regs but who cares when it looks cool.
7: good idea
8: no advice due to fed laws. But possible
9: good way to ruin wheel balance.
10: search forum seen it done in whole car looked good from across street crap up close.

its not that small of a dent, my dad scraped a concrete pillar and left 2 very noticeable scratches and dents all across the rear passenger fender, but i will give it a shot

rocky

thank you for all the advice
but a few more inquires

1. are their any cheaper options, i dont want to spend more than 300 on the rack, and could oem cross bars work, i could get those from a junkyard

2. is 5 a high estimate or average, and i will primarily use in city, wil it still be as much

3. i have no exp but i can figure out wiring, is the wiring run outside the car, in the car, do you need to drill a hole to get the wires inside or can tehy be wirred in from the siderails

4. thank you

5.thank you

6.it for dark road that i drive on, i enjoy the back roads

7. thanks

8.not like defining air horn, like a belair horn from the 80s or a programmable horn to play tunes and ect

9.from my understanding it is easy to do even coats, but i have no exp

10.thank you

i understand the science for the electronics my concern is all the switches also, any ideas on where to place them im gonna be adding about 3-4 switches for the lights and possible horn
