Default A/C Discharge Hose Replacement

I will be replacing the A/C discharge hose on my 2006 Pilot next weekend (believe it or not, we need A/C in January in Florida) to avoid about $400 in labor charges. I am looking for any step by step instructions or suggestions of any kind. Also, what size o-rings do I need and what type of oil for lubricating the parts?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You have to pull out the evaporator housing to replace that hose. It means the system has to be completely opened up. The system has to be evacuated of all 134, then after the repair is made, add some pag to the evap core, vacuum it all down and recharge. Don;t know the oring size but run some pag oil on them before replacing.

Why is it being replaced? Water in the floorboards? You can get in there from where the cabin filter sits but it's just too small to get any tools in there. Is the line clogged?

The discharge hose is the hose that connects the AC compressor to the condenser. The condenser is located in front of the radiator.

I don't believe that the evaporator has to be removed. The evaporator is located behind the dashboard and is not near the discharge hose.

You do have to evacuate the freon and properly vacuum and recharge the system when your done.
