First off start with Xentec 6000k H11 in stock projectors

Testing the Curve Shield is a PITA , taking a week! Burned two PC Power Supply!

Got the stock H11 Projector out side by side with the RX330-AFS




Painted the Shroud black.




And a lot of trimming for fitting.

Here goes some more!

Mounting with screws and extra aluminum sheets from the curve shield mod.


Leveling and adjustment cutoff before final epoxy.


Got it adjusted, nice flicker glares daytime and my sexy ass! hahaha... sorry...

Then leave them overnight settle for 18hrs, but I left it set for 20+hrs

There it goes back to the oven sealing up, I didn't get any extra butyl, just seal it up and throw some Selica Gel bag in the housing to keep moisture out.

Thx, yes this one took quite sometime and patiences! I rated this retrofit level hard! As the projector kinda big, have to mount it in the back instead front of the housing like the stock projector is. So the projector has about 5/8" gap to the shroud. Alot of trimming is involved, more difficult to retro it than a reflector housing. But if you find some similar smaller size projector it would be much easier to retro. But it's possible to retro a medium size projectors in there. But I'm still not very happy with the result. Thinking about retro the high beam side with FX-R 3 (Bixenon!) And probably i could do some more blackout with better looking.

Looking good! Never thought of sticking Selica bags in the housing in my previous retros. With the projector sitting slightly back from the stock shroud, did it affect any of the beam from the sides?

My first retro on an aftermarket headlight they have selica gel bag in there. So i think it's a good idea! As for the shroud part doesn't interfier with the output. But i prefer closure better.
