I just bought a 2007 Pilot Ex-L and have a question on accessing the third row from the second row passenger side. I noticed the the seat moves forward if I use the latch on the top or side of the second row passenger side section and fold down the seat to put kids in the third row. The problem is that the seat does not lock into place and will continue to slide forward and back unless I push the seat all the way back then forward to a locking position. Is the seat operating correctly? This seems to be a safety issue if you put a child in the second row seat and it is not in a locked position.

It is operating properly securing seats is a parents responsibility not a child 's.
