I just got an 03 Pilot with 92000 miles. I'm going to be adding the Tranny Cooler and PS Cooler and a brake controller. I was looking in the manual, and noticed a different towing capacity for boat (4500lbs) towing vs other (3500lbs) trailers. Why would it matter, unless it was a large frontal area? The Pop UP I'll be towing is only 2600 lbs., so it doesn't really matter, but just curious.
Thanks for all the info I've gotten so far by reading old posts. |

because the aerodynamics of a boat allow it to be towed with less resistance that a camper or other square trailer with a flat front.
