I just bought my first Pilot, has really low miles on it (185,000)
![]() Just looking through posts on this forum and read there was a recal on the transmission, and that if I take it to a dealer they modify it somehow to cool down gear 3? Is this true, and if so do es that mean I can just take it to a dealer and have it done (more or less)? Also, i heard there was a recall on the drivers airbag, does anyone kow anything about that? My pilot when driving in between 60-70miles makes a low droning sound (droning may be a bit harsh), but a low noise nonetheless. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for any help Tim |

Massive Honda Airbag Recall Expanded Further | AutoGuide.com News
Just go down to Honda and ask them to check your vin number for recalls that have not been performed (they keep records via vin numbers). Chances are most have already been done. The air-bag thing is only a couple months old, so there is a good chance it has not been taken care of. Droning is most likely from tires. Rotate them and see if the sound moves to a different area. |

Yes 2003 and some 2004 had recall on transmission and SRS.
You can check recall info here, just input your VIN. Honda Automobile Recall Information |
