I'd really like to replace my OEM HU (no NAV) on my 07 Pilot. But finding a 2-Din, XM READY, Ipod controllable package is pretty difficult.
All of Crutchfield's stuff require the XM tuner (another $119). Even my local car stereo store tells me no one makes the unit XM-ready anymore- without the additional tuner. Has anyone out there found one? |

i personally havent. aftermarket companies are trying to cut costs and make their units more affordable so they make the tuner external, so you arent paying extra money for a built in tuner if you dont subscribe to satellite radio.

You do realize that the tuner is an external module and it uses the display of the headunit, right? There's plenty of space inside the center console housing for the module.
