2003 pilot ticking sound at idle - Honda Pilot

I have a very noticeable ticking at idle. It is different than pinging. It doesnt seem to affect compression or performance but I wonder if it is a sign of trouble to come.

I have 85k miles on vehicle.

I have noticed a little bit of ticking. A mechanic said that I was hearing the fuel injectors.

Could need valve adjustment, have an exhaust leak, or be injectors. Probably nothing to worry about, have it checked out if it concerns/bothers yiu.

just noticed this on mine recently the last few days, but it has been much colder the last few days as well, and mine seems to mostly be during warm up..

not thrilled about it but it's not very loud, and my 03 accord, and 02 accord both did this so i guess i'll just ignore it for now.

Do you hear it at cold start or normal operating temp?
