Can/Has anyone replaced interior lights in a 2004 EX? Just think it is a very dim vehicle when all of the lights inside are on. I would like to see if they make LED's for the interior lights. Estimate cost and what style should I be looking at?

I replaced all my interior bulbs to white LED and it makes a big difference. Nowadays, they make LEDs in all sorts of bulbs.
Use this to figure out what bulbs you need: Lamp Replacement Guide View All Bulbs In my 07, there is a map light, two sets of dome lights, and the two front doors. I am not sure what it's like in the 04.

i searched a few days ago and there was a guy that had a pretty good thread on the subject, he even had the bulb sizes listed and what led he used..
All the pilots have the same # of interior lights, but on the newer years some of the bulb sizes changed.. depending on who you order LED's from will depend on cost.. you can get them from ebay dirt cheap but my expirence with the quality with them is very low and dim.. the best LED's hands down ive bought have all been from www.vleds.com i was very impressed with everything i bought from them, my only complaint is they are not cheap lol.. sometimes you can catch deals though... |

I have 2 Pilots, 2004 and 2007. I replaced the interior light bulbs with LEDs on both last week.
I got them from dealextreme.com If your interior light are on the above-the-door handles, then you need to order these 2x (for trunck door) 31mm 1.35W 6-SMD LED 84-Lumen 6500K White Dome Light (DC 12V) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme 4x (2 front doors, 2 license plate) (2 packs of 2) T10 1.2W 6500K 70-Lumen 5-SMD LED Car White Light Bulbs (Pair/DC 12V) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme 4x (for handle lights, must remove heat shield as it is not needed with LEDs) 39mm 2W 9-SMD LED 126-Lumen 6500K White Dome Light (DC 12V) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme If your interior light are in the middle of the roof, then you need to order these 4x (2 for map lights and 2 for trunck door) 31mm 1.35W 6-SMD LED 84-Lumen 6500K White Dome Light (DC 12V) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme 8x (4 dome, 2 front doors, 2 license plate) (4 packs of 2) T10 1.2W 6500K 70-Lumen 5-SMD LED Car White Light Bulbs (Pair/DC 12V) - Free Shipping - DealExtreme |

The light is white and nice. However, the items were not packed properly, yet they all worked fine. Now is Chinese new year holiday, so that may delay delivery. I forgot to note that I also replaced the 2 parking lights with the same as the T10 ones, so you may want to add 2 of those. Since you are at it, order extra for spares, as I am not sure how long they will last.
