Does anyone know why the anti theft system is armed if you remove the key from the ignition and do not exit the vehicle after about a minute? If you happen to dawdle, maybe by rummaging thru the console or glove box, the doors will lock after one minute. The system is now armed. Unlocking or opening the doors will activate the horn and lights. I was not able to deactivate it by staying in the vehicle and pressing a fob button. The only way to stop it was by exiting the vehicle and pressing the fob. Since the system senses the driver has not left, why should the system be needlessly armed?

That sounds like an aftermarket or dealer installed alarm. The factory Honda alarm doesn't automatically arm itself.
